Flax and Kale Green Smoothie Bowls

The blend of banana, ground flaxseed, dates, kale and almonds is sweet, healthy and full of fibre!

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 1 Tbsp (15 mL) almond butter
  • 2 Tbsp (30 mL) ground flaxseed
  • 1 cup (250 mL) kale, chopped
  • 2 dates, pitted
  • 1 cup (250 mL) milk

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine banana, almond butter, ground flaxseed, kale, dates and milk. Cover and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour smoothie into two bowls and top with almonds, dates and ground flaxseed. Serve.
